This syrup starts with buttery toasted pecans and caramelized sugar, then gets blended with warm water, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to make the most addictive butter pecan base. The Recipe

– 1 cup pecans
– Β½ cup brown sugar
– Β½ cup white sugar
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 1 cup warm water
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– Pinch of salt

How To Make It:

  1. In a saucepan, add pecans to toast 3-5 minutes.

  2. Add both sugars and stir until melted and caramelized. Then add butter, mix.

  4. Add cinnamon and salt, then let simmer for 10–15 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 2 shots espresso
  • 2 tbsp butter pecan syrup (recipe below)
  • ice

Butter Pecan Syrup

  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar (use monkfruit for both for sugar free)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Add pecans to a sauce pan and let toast 3-5 minutes.
  • Add in sugars and mix until combined.
  • Add in butter, mix until combined.
  • Carefully add in hot water and spices. Let simmer 15 minutes then strain into a glass jar. Refrigerate until ready to use and make candied pecans with the leftover nuts!
