Healthy Reese’s Cups 🍫🥜

Reese’s cups will forever be a favorite candy, but sometimes I want that peanut butter + chocolate combo without all the added sugar, oils, and mystery ingredients. That’s where these Healthy Reese’s Cups come in. They’re simple to make, use real food ingredients, and taste even better than the store-bought version (I said what I said 😉).

These little treats are creamy, rich, and perfectly sweetened with maple syrup. The best part? They’re made with just a handful of pantry staples, and you can whip them up in under 30 minutes.

The Recipe

You’ll Need:

  • Candy mold: This one is perfect!

  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter (or any nut butter you love)

  • ½ cup maple syrup

  • ¾ cup coconut flour

  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted with 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Prep the chocolate base:
Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate into the bottom of your candy mold. Freeze for 15 minutes to set.

  2. Make the filling:
In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut flour until smooth. Scoop out about ½ tablespoon at a time, roll into a ball, and gently flatten.

  3. Assemble:
Place the peanut butter mixture into the chilled molds on top of the chocolate layer. Pour remaining melted chocolate over the top to cover.

  4. Freeze & enjoy:
Freeze for 15–20 minutes until set. Pop them out of the mold and store in the fridge for the best texture.

Why You’ll Love These

  • Better-for-you ingredients: Naturally sweetened with maple syrup + made with real nut butter.

  • Quick & easy: Just a few simple steps and you’ve got a batch ready in under 30 minutes.

  • Customizable: Swap in almond butter, cashew butter, or even sunflower seed butter if you’re nut-free.

  • Store-friendly: Keep them in the fridge or freezer for a quick grab-and-go sweet treat.

These Healthy Reese’s Cups are proof that candy can be indulgent and nourishing. They make the perfect little afternoon pick-me-up, and I promise no one will miss the packaged stuff.
