Pinecone Brownies (the Cutest Holiday Dessert Ever)

If you’re looking for a holiday dessert that’s easy, adorable, and guaranteed to get a million “OMG, how?!” messages… these Pinecone Brownies are it. They look like little snowy pinecones, but they’re actually fudgy brownies dressed up in melted chocolate and crunchy chocolate cereal. They’re nostalgic, cozy, kid-friendly, and the perfect treat for holiday parties, cookie exchanges, or a fun baking night at home.

I love these because they check every December box:

  • low-effort
  •  high-impact
  •  impossible to mess up
  • festive without needing decorating skills

They’re also surprisingly calming to make — press, press, press the cereal pieces into the brownie “cone,” sift with powdered sugar, and cue the winter magic.

Let’s make them!

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Break up the brownies
Add your cooled brownies to a large bowl and use an electric beater to mix until a soft brownie “dough” forms.

2. Shape into cones
Grab a small handful of dough and form it into a pinecone (cone) shape with your hands.

3. Dip in chocolate
Working one at a time, dip each brownie cone into the melted chocolate and let excess drip off.

4. Add the “pinecone” texture
Starting at the top, gently press chocolate cereal pieces into the brownie cone until fully covered.

5. Add snow!
Sift powdered sugar over the tops to create that snowy pinecone look.

Why You’ll Love These Pinecone Brownies

  • They look impressive but take under 20 minutes.

  • Kids can help make them (and they’ll think you’re a genius).

  • A perfect edible holiday “craft.”

  • Gluten-free or dairy-free friendly depending on the brownie mix you use.

  • They’re fudgy, crunchy, chocolatey — everything December should taste like.
