Add cranberries and water to a pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.Strain and discard the pulp. Stir in sugar, orange zest, and 1 tablespoon orange juice until dissolved. Set aside to cool.
Orange Juice
Peel oranges, removing all skin and pith. Blend until smooth.Reserve 1 tablespoon for the cranberry juice and pour the rest into a shallow dish for soaking ladyfingers. Sweeten if needed.
Cranberry Mascarpone Filling
