A creamy, refreshing matcha latte layered with a quick homemade strawberry “jam” and naturally sweetened with maple syrup. Fresh, lightly sweet, and perfect for an easy at-home café moment.
Prepare the matcha:Add matcha to a bowl or cup and whisk with ¼ cup hot (not boiling) water until smooth and frothy. Set aside.
Make the strawberry layer:Blend strawberries with 2–4 tablespoons of water until smooth and jam-like. Stir in maple syrup.
Assemble the drink:Spoon the strawberry mixture into the bottom of a glass. Fill with ice, then pour in your milk of choice.
Finish with matcha:Slowly pour the matcha over the milk for that layered look. Stir gently before sipping. Optional pink cold foam and crushed freeze dried strawberries to top!
