Maple Sea Salt Whipped Latte

This maple sea salt whipped latte is one of those little extras that instantly upgrades your everyday coffee or matcha. Think lightly sweet, subtly salty, and perfectly fluffy — the kind of topping that makes your morning drink feel intentional without being complicated.

It’s not quite whipped cream and not quite cold foam — somewhere in between. Soft, spoonable, and designed to melt slowly into your drink as you sip.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Naturally sweetened with maple syrup

  • Sweet + salty balance (always elite)

  • Works on coffee and matcha

  • Easy to make with minimal ingredients

  • Feels café-worthy at home

This is the kind of recipe you make once and then start adding to everything.

Maple Sea Salt Whipped Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream (plant-based or dairy — I love Silk)

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add the cold heavy cream to a mixing bowl. Begin mixing using a stand mixer, hand mixer, or a whisk (strong arm encouraged).

  2. Watch the texture closely. Once the cream starts to thicken and hold its shape slightly, pause the mixer and add the maple syrup and sea salt.

  3. Resume mixing until everything is well combined. You’re looking for a firm, fluffy texture — thick and spoonable, but not fully whipped cream.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a pastry bag or a plastic bag with a large corner cut off.

  5. Pipe generously over the top of iced or hot coffee or matcha and enjoy.

Tips & Notes

  • Stop mixing before stiff peaks — this keeps the texture soft and melt-in-your-drink perfect.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2–3 days.

  • Try this on cold brew, iced lattes, matcha, or even hot chocolate.

This is one of those small upgrades that makes home coffee feel fun again — cozy, elevated, and just sweet enough.
