Cinnamon Coffee Cake Latte
There are two types of morning people: The ones who want something light and bright… and the ones who want their coffee to taste like a warm cinnamon coffee cake fresh from the oven.

If you’re here, I’m guessing you’re the second kind.
This Cinnamon Coffee Cake Latte is rich, cozy, slightly indulgent, and somehow still feels totally acceptable for a weekday. The secret? Brown sugar + butter whisked directly into hot espresso. Yes, butter. And no, you absolutely may not skip it.
It creates that silky, bakery-style finish that makes this taste like a latte and a slice of coffee cake had the best possible baby.

Why the Butter Works
The butter melts into the espresso and emulsifies with the sugar, creating a creamy, almost caramel-like base. It rounds out the bitterness of the coffee and makes the whole drink taste like it came from your favorite café — but better.
It’s giving:
-
Cinnamon streusel
-
Melted brown sugar
-
Cozy kitchen energy
Make It Your Own
-
Extra cozy: Add a pinch of sea salt.
-
More dessert-y: Top with cinnamon cold foam.
-
Dairy-free: Use oat milk and vegan butter (still dreamy).
-
Hot version: Skip the ice and steam your milk instead.
This is the kind of drink that makes folding laundry feel romantic and answering emails feel slightly less offensive.
