Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato + Iced Lavender Cream Matcha

There’s just something about spring drinks that hit different… and these two feel like they belong on the menu at you know where — but we’re making them at home with better ingredients.

Think: creamy, slightly floral, a little elevated, and honestly so fun to make. Both recipes use kefir for the cold foam, which gives that perfect creamy texture with a subtle tang that takes these to the next level.

Why You’ll Love These

  • Café-style drinks made at home
  • Creamy, dreamy kefir cold foam
  • Unique flavors (ube + lavender!)
  • Perfect for spring hosting or a little daily treat
  • Easy to customize with your favorite milk

Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato

This one is rich, creamy, and slightly sweet with that signature ube flavor. The coconut + espresso combo is so good.

  • Milk of choice

Ube Cold Foam

Instructions

  1. Make the cold foam
Whisk or froth together kefir, heavy cream, coconut milk, and ube extract until thick and creamy.
  2. Assemble the drink
Add ice and milk to a glass.
  3. Pour espresso
    Pour espresso over the milk.
  4. Top with foam
Add your ube cold foam on top and finish with toasted coconut.

What It Tastes Like

Creamy, slightly tropical, and lightly sweet with a hint of vanilla-like ube flavor. It’s cozy but refreshing at the same time.

Iced Lavender Cream Matcha

This one is soft, floral, and perfectly balanced. The lavender adds just enough without overpowering the matcha.

My Tips

  • Use a good quality matcha for best flavor
  • Adjust syrup to your sweetness preference
  • Kefir makes the cold foam extra creamy + slightly tangy
  • Shake or froth your foam well for that café-style finish
