Iced Maple Chai Matcha
Okay, I know I say this a lot, but this one is GOOD.

Maple + chai + matcha is such a good fall combination. You get the earthy matcha, warm chai spices, and just enough maple to make it feel cozy without turning it into a sugar bomb.
And the best part? It takes about two minutes to make.
Basically, your coffee shop matcha order just got a very fall makeover.
Why You’ll Like This
It’s ridiculously easy. No complicated syrups or fancy ingredients. Just whisk, pour, layer, and you’re done.
The flavor combo is SO good. Chai and matcha might sound like an unexpected pairing, but the maple brings the two together perfectly.
It’s customizable. Use your favorite milk and adjust the maple depending on how sweet you like your matcha.
It’s basically fall in a glass. I don’t make the rules.
Iced Maple Chai Matcha
Ingredients
- 2 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha
- ¼ cup hot water
- 4 oz chai concentrate
- 1–2 tbsp maple syrup
- Milk of choice
- Lots of ice
How to Make
Add the matcha and hot water to a bowl or matcha cup and whisk until smooth and frothy.
Now for the fun part: the layers.
Add maple syrup to the bottom of your glass.
Pour in the chai concentrate.
Fill the glass with lots of ice.
Pour in your milk of choice.
Finally, pour the whisked matcha over the top.
Give everything a good stir before drinking so all those flavors come together.
And that’s it.
A maple chai matcha in approximately two minutes.
Tips
Use good matcha. Since matcha is one of the main flavors here, I like using a smooth ceremonial-grade matcha.
Don’t use boiling water. Hot water is perfect for whisking matcha, but boiling water can make it taste bitter.
Make it as sweet as you want. Start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and add more if you want a sweeter drink.
Don’t skimp on the ice. This is an iced drink, after all. Fill that glass up.
My favorite part? The order of the layers. Maple → chai → ice → milk → matcha. It makes the prettiest little café moment before you mix it all together.
Final Thoughts
I am VERY into this combination.
The chai gives the matcha all those cozy fall spices, while the maple adds just enough sweetness to make the whole thing taste like a little autumn café situation.
And because we’re making it at home, you can make it exactly how you like it.
