Apple pie latte with a cheesecake cold foam

Okay, this one is GOOD.

Homemade apple pie syrup, espresso and cheesecake cold foam? Basically fall in a glass.

The syrup is made with real apples, brown sugar and cinnamon, and the cheesecake cold foam on top makes the whole thing taste like an apple pie latte had a little dessert moment. And yes, I’m very into it.

Why You’ll Like This

  • Tastes like an iced apple pie latte
  • Made with homemade apple pie syrup
  • Real apples, brown sugar and cinnamon
  • The cheesecake cold foam is SO good
  • Easy to make at home
  • Basically fall dessert, but make it coffee

Homemade Apple Pie Coffee Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1–2 whole apples, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, use brown monkfruit for sugar free
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup water

How to Make

Add the chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and water to a small saucepan.

Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until the apples soften and the syrup becomes fragrant, about 10–15 minutes.

Strain the syrup, let it cool, and store it in the fridge until you’re ready to make your latte.

Apple Pie Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso
  • 1–2 tbsp homemade apple pie syrup
  • Milk of choice
  • Ice

How to Make

Fill a glass with ice and add the apple pie syrup.

Pour in your milk, then add the espresso and give everything a good stir.

Top with a generous amount of cheesecake cold foam.

Cheesecake Cold Foam

Ingredients

  • 3 parts heavy cream
  • 1 part milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • Splash of vanilla bean paste
  • 1 tsp cheesecake instant pudding mix

How to Make

Add everything to a milk frother or use a hand frother to whip until thick and creamy, but still pourable.

Pour it over your latte and, obviously, add a little extra cinnamon on top.

Tips

Use a sweet, flavorful apple. Since the apple is what gives the syrup its flavor, the better the apple, the better the syrup.

Don’t skip the cinnamon. It really makes the whole apple pie situation happen.

Make the syrup ahead. It’s perfect to keep in the fridge so you can make an apple pie latte whenever the craving hits.

Want it extra dessert-y? Add a little extra cheesecake cold foam. I don’t make the rules.

Final Thoughts

This is basically my fall coffee personality in one glass.

Homemade apple pie syrup, espresso, creamy milk and cheesecake cold foam? I’m VERY into it.

It tastes like apple pie and cheesecake had a coffee date, and honestly, I’m not mad about it.

If you make it, tag @whatrobineats so I can see your little fall coffee moment.
