Strawberry Iced Matcha

If you love matcha but want something a little sweeter, fruitier, and more spring-coded, this strawberry iced matcha is the one. It’s creamy, lightly sweet, and layered with a quick homemade strawberry “jam” that makes it feel extra special without adding much effort.

This is the kind of drink that feels like a treat but still fits into an everyday routine—no syrups, no artificial flavors, just real strawberries, good matcha, and a touch of maple syrup.

Why You’ll Love This Strawberry Matcha

  • Naturally sweetened with real fruit

  • Creamy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced

  • Easy to make at home in under 5 minutes

  • Coffee shop vibes, pantry-friendly ingredients

Ingredients

How to Make It

  1. Prepare the matcha:
Add matcha to a bowl or cup and whisk with ¼ cup hot (not boiling) water until smooth and frothy. Set aside.

  2. Make the strawberry layer:
Blend strawberries with 2–4 tablespoons of water until smooth and jam-like. Stir in maple syrup.

  3. Assemble the drink:
Spoon the strawberry mixture into the bottom of a glass. Fill with ice, then pour in your milk of choice.

  4. Finish with matcha:
Slowly pour the matcha over the milk for that layered look. Stir gently before sipping.

Tips & Variations

  • Use frozen strawberries if fresh aren’t in season.

  • Add more maple syrup if you like it sweeter, but the strawberries do most of the work here.

  • Oat milk and almond milk both pair beautifully with the strawberry + matcha combo.

The Perfect At-Home Matcha Moment

This strawberry iced matcha is refreshing, lightly sweet, and just creamy enough. It’s a fun twist on a classic matcha latte and one you’ll want to make on repeat—especially when you’re craving something pretty and nourishing.
