Vegan Date Caramel Sauce (double this recipe if your blender is large like a Vitamix):

* 1/4 cup classic smooth Ground Up almond & cashew butter – code WHATROBINEATS for a discount

* 1/4 cup maple syrup

* 2 tbsp coconut oil melted

* 2 large fresh dates, pitted

* 1 tsp vanilla extract

* Pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions: add everything to a blender and blend until smooth. Add a tbsp or two of water if it’s too thick but for the caramel board you want the sauce a little thicker than normal. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

Make your board by adding whatever dipping goodies you’d like then piling on the caramel sauce.
