Sweet, creamy, and the homemade version of a drive-thru favorite.

This is one of those drinks that feels very “treat yourself” but is surprisingly easy to make at home. If you’ve had the 7 Brew sweet and salty iced latte, you know why people love it — creamy milk, sweet white chocolate, salted caramel, and that perfect balance of salty and sweet.
My version uses FreshCap Mushroom coffee for a smoother energy boost without the jitters, plus my homemade vegan date caramel sauce for a naturally sweet twist. It tastes like a coffee shop drink, but feels a little better.

Sweet & Salty Iced Latte
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons instant espresso or 1 serving FreshCap Mushrooms mushroom coffee
- 1 tablespoon white chocolate sauce (I made homemade)
- 1 tablespoon salted caramel syrup – use my vegan date caramel sauce
- hot water (not boiling), enough to cover the espresso
- ¾ cup milk of choice
- half & half (if you want it breve-style)
- ice
Homemade Salted Caramel Option
I used my vegan date caramel sauce for this recipe, and it works perfectly here:

It adds that sweet caramel flavor while keeping the ingredients a little more simple.
Instructions
Add your instant espresso (or FreshCap Mushrooms coffee) to a glass with hot water and whisk until dissolved.
Add in the white chocolate sauce and salted caramel syrup, stirring until smooth.
Fill your glass with ice.
Pour in your milk of choice, or use half & half if you want it extra creamy and breve-style.
Give it a good stir and enjoy.
