Welcome back to Copycat Café, where I recreate favorite drinks and treats with a homemade twist and simpler ingredients. For episode 11, we’re making a healthier version of the famous frozen lemonade — creamy, bright, refreshing, and honestly perfect for summer afternoons.

This one tastes like a lemon dessert and a smoothie somewhere in between. It’s sweet, tart, thick, icy, and comes together in just a few minutes with simple ingredients.

Healthier Frozen Lemonade

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 3 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or thick plant-based yogurt
  • 5–6 cups crushed ice

Instructions

Add the lemon juice, maple syrup, vanilla protein powder, yogurt, and crushed ice to a high-speed blender.

Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy.

If needed, add a splash of water or milk to help blend, but keep it thick for that frozen lemonade texture.

Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.

Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
