Brownie batter iced latte

A rich, chocolatey iced latte that tastes like licking the brownie batter bowl.

This brownies batter iced latte tastes like the cozy, chocolatey part of baking brownies — the spoonful of batter you “accidentally” keep sneaking before the pan even makes it into the oven. It’s rich without being too heavy, perfectly sweet, and topped with the dreamiest cocoa cold foam.

If you love mocha drinks but want something that feels a little more homemade café and a little less coffee shop syrup overload, this one is so good.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Tastes like brownie batter in latte form
  • Easy to make at home
  • Rich chocolate flavor without being overly sweet
  • Creamy cocoa cold foam
  • Perfect afternoon coffee treat
  • Feels like a little café moment at home

Brownie Batter Latte

Ingredients

  • ½ tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract or vanilla flavor
  • double shot espresso
  • ice
  • 4–5 oz milk of choice

Cocoa Cold Foam

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

Instructions

Add the brown sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla to the bottom of your glass.

Pour in the hot espresso and whisk until smooth and slightly frothy.

Fill the glass with ice and pour in your milk of choice.

In a separate glass or frother, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder until thick and creamy.

Gently pour the cocoa cold foam over the latte.

Give it a little stir and enjoy.

Tips

  • Use a good quality cocoa powder for the best flavor
  • Add flaky sea salt on top for a sweet + salty moment
  • Want it sweeter? Add a little extra brown sugar
  • Dairy-free heavy cream alternatives work too

Final Thoughts

This is one of those drinks that instantly feels comforting, even iced. Chocolatey, creamy, and just indulgent enough without feeling over-the-top. Basically the kind of latte that makes staying home feel better than a coffee run.
